My education and life experience has been varied and fruitful! I began my college education as a Biology major but switched to Math when I was told I didn’t need any more Math for a Bio major. I just couldn’t give it up! I loved that there was always a correct answer in Math! (Smile!) After graduating from Rutgers University, my concentration in Biology opened opportunities in Roche Clinical Labs and then Johnson & Johnson (New Jersey) and my degree in Math further opened the door to working in their computer center where I learned various software and then became a Trainer and eventually Manager of Computer Systems Training for the corporation.

Afer a few years at this, I could feel the urge to move on. As I would be entering the building to go to work, I could feel myself being repelled like when you put two like poles of magnets near each other. I knew it was time to move on!  At this time my husband and I had started a family and I made the choice to become a stay-at-home mom before my second son’s birth. I now have three grown successful sons and 5 grandchildren.

It was not a ‘walk in the park’ as I was widowed when my sons were four, six and eight. And I really learned the value of maintaining good relationships with my friends, family and neighbors. I can tell you firsthand, that ‘It takes a village to raise children.’ When my youngest was about seven I enrolled in seminary and became an Interfaith Minister and a Minister of Practical Christianity, eventually serving as Associate Minister and Minister at area churches.

Family has always been my number one priority so I left the ministry to move to Florida and help my sons get started in business. I subsequently wore various ‘hats’ –mortgage processing, massage therapy, teaching special needs middle schoolers– to keep fulfilling my dreams and goals. I love that I have had a plethora of experience!

Now, as a Transformational Life Coach, I am trained in coaching, yet I have so much life experience that I can offer my clients a broad understanding of their challenges as well as their dreams!
